Hue and Hoa Binh Tour Overview
This full-day expedition is a high-contrast journey that transitions from deep historical reflection to a wild, adrenaline-pumping nature adventure. Traveling from the imperial city of Hue into the heart of the UNESCO-listed Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, this tour hits the major milestones of Vietnam’s historic DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) before diving into outdoor thrills.
Cultural Pilgrimage: Visit La Vang Holy Land, a peaceful rainforest sanctuary and a deeply sacred site of pilgrimage for Vietnamese Catholics.
The Historic DMZ Line: Step back in time at Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River, the poignant physical border that divided North and South Vietnam during the war.
Adrenaline in Dark Cave: Zipline 400 meters over the emerald Chay River, explore a pitch-black cave with only a headlamp, and wallow in a rich, buoyant mud bath deep inside the earth.
Water Sports: Kayak across the river and test your skills with high-flying water ziplines and obstacle games.

Hue and Hoa Binh Tour Itinerary
RETURN: 20:00PM
ROUTE: Hue – Quang Binh
6:30AM: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city. Then, you will depart to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, classified as a World heritage site.
On the way, you will stop to visit La Vang holy land – a national shrine located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province, an important place of pilgrimage for Catholics in Vietnam.
You will also have a chance to stop at Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai river for taking photos.
12:00pm: Have Lunch at a local restaurant and have a short rest.
13:00pm: Coming to Chay River – Dark Cave, you will enjoy a 400 m zip-line from the wildlife observation tower to Dark Cave by equipment dedicated for exploring the cave as a headlight and helmet.
After swimming across the Chay River and soaking in the mud, you will return to another smaller zip-line and allow you to jump off into the refreshing water. Dark cave where some adventurous games await…
15:30 pm: Back toHue on Legendary road.
19:30 – 20:00 pm: Arrive in Hue and drop you off at the hotel in Hue center. Tour ends.
